Got the rule book!!!

For once, this will surprise you all,
I have spent money on something worth it. I have the 6th ed rule book and there is alot of info. However, i have found that the amount of new rules is limited. There are changes in assault, some weaonry and some new weapons, along with rulesfor vehicles and flyers.
But totaly worth the £££ i paid for it!!!

Congratulations on being ahead of the curve and being amongst the elite! Ali, Chris and Max will be well behind!

Have you read it more than once through? I have read it about 4 times and then looked on the forums and seen what they are picking up and then re-reading those bits!

I think its a good time to be a Necron player, but I am running a Blood Angels Descent list which may have recieved a benefit or 2 out of the new rules as well as loosing the odd bonus here and there!

The more i read it, the more rules i see that have changed.
But i think that ANY unit that is assaulting a shooty unit is off their nut now. So it will be fun to play nids.
and the marines are going to be alot more fun to play against

I may well go and dig out my crons from my house (they are currently in a box) and really annoy everyone with them. 1 thing I have noticed that is amazing... Lord with MSS in a unit and challenge! The enemy character (squad sgt or HQ choice is irrelevant) either accepts the challenge or cant fight right. If he accepts the challenge then the Lord is concidered to be solely in BTB with the challengee and thus can only hit the challengee with MSS. This means that the opponent can only hit himself followed swiftly by your lord whacking him too! That is frigging awsome!

I played a 1k game with them today.
4 teams. My crons (Proxied), Orks, marines and nids.
I lost VERY little and did alot with close combat.
I love these new rules
