rather than organise with each opponent about wether or not it's ok to use the units from the book shall we just decide to allow or not to allow the units to be used in normal games.

I would say its a polite thing to do to say that your planning to use something from the book. It lets the opponent at least check the rules before a game and not everyone has access to the book!

true, however anyone who would use these units would have to bring the rules for them anyway. it just means that you won't have to re-write your list if your opponent says no.

also on that point the tomb stalker is listed in the imp armour book is it listed in the cron dex?

Its not in the book but I have always asked if my opponent minds me using it and have always got a copy of the rules for it for them to read through!

How ever that was in my CC list which has kinda been nerfed with the new book so it may not be appearing too often now!
