 Kill Team Discussion

As the title suggests this is a place for you to post the lists that you would like to use in Kill Team games

Rules for Kill Team armies:

No more than 200 points

Troops
Elites
Fast Attack

May pick up to 3 different Universal Special Rules and they can be given to any 3 different models.


I have come up with the following:

Platoon Command Squad (Platoon Commander has the Feel No Pain USR)

Infantry Squad with Melta gun (Melta gunner has Tank Hunter USR)

Infantry Squad with Sniper rifle (Sniper has Relentless USR)

Chimera

Total points cost is 200 on the nail.

So there you have my list for Kill Team, hopefully it will be ok against the likes of a BA based force or some of the other more brutal potential lists!

So who is next?

Will be good to get a mini league of kill team going, you know just a turn up and play a game, finish by 9 so slip in a quick kill team game before knocking it on the head for the night!

lol! I didnt think anyone would actually want to do it. So i letf all my stuff at the club to finish painting. (Not long left Very Happy) Luckily, i know wat im having but just need to write it up.

Stop leaving your stuff at the club!!! You cant read your codex, learn rules, or build/paint models if they are in the club!!

Get a box, stick all your stuff in it and just pull that to and from the club, that way your stuff is all together and you can work on it when ever!!

Couple of things ... is it not 0-1 Elites, 0-2 Troops, 0-1 Fast, in which case Tyas, you have a Dev - Heavy and Termie + 2 x Sternguard = 3 x Elite?

Now, based on that Force Org, I'll provisionally go with;

Guardian Jet Bike x 4 - 1 with Sh Can 1 & Stealth

Vyper with Sh Can with Tank Hunter

Vyper with Sh Can with Scout

Comes to 198 pts

It is in deed 0-1 fast, 0-1 elites and 0-2 troops.

That is a nice list John. Should be very fast in deed.

After last nights victory I was looking at making a necron Kill team so here goes:

2 Destroyers (Fast)
3 Immortals (Elites)
1 Warrior (Troops)

This is 200 points on the nail.
I am figuring the warrior is getting relentless so he can keep up with the immortals.
Not sure about any of the other USRs, probably FNP on 1 of the destroyers, but no idea for the third USR at all.

Comparison to the guard.... 6 necrons vs 25 guardsmen and a tank??!! MMMMMM bring on the tin heads!
