So 6th has been released and for those who dont have the new book here is a quick summary of the new rules!

1: Cover saves are now based on 25% of each individual model not the unit, this includes vehicles.
2: You can opt to shoot at the whole unit so some models get a cover save or you can concentrate fire on the models in the open for no cover save.
3: To assault you roll 2d6 and that is your charge range. Jump troops get a re-roll on either or both dice.
4: Over watch responce to assaults is a snap shot; taken at bs1 (cant be used by template or weapons that scatter).
5: Heavy weapons such as autocannon/Heavy bolter can move and snap fire.
6: Characters cant be picked out in combat.
7:Vehicles have hull points; glance removes a HP; pen removes a HP and rolls on the damage chart (no negative modifiers but ap2 = +1 and ap1 = +2.
8: Vehicles that move are counted as WS1 and vehicles that are stationary are ws0, no modifiers for move distance!
9: Units cannot claim objectives if in vehicles.
10 There are new deployment maps and missions. There are also a load of sub missions in every main mission and several extra twists!

So thats my first couple of reads through and this is just a light skim so we dont get into trouble.

6th ed rules here we go.

From your comments and a few things I've read in the mag, sounds like a few similarities to Fantasy rules.
