Ladder kicked off with an excleent start (not biassed at all!).

Myself (Eldar) vs H (Dark Eldar)

The Eldar of Saim Hann deployed first with one of the Vypers making a scout move back to deal with an infiltrating Incubi, but it failed miserably, despite firing 5 shots.
The Eldar took first blood, killing 1 warrior in turn 1, but with only 6 models against 11 Dark Eldar I wasn't sure this was going to be enough.
Sure enough the Dark Eldar advance at the run and with the help of 2 reavers, took out 2 jet bikes.

By turn 3 I was up by 4 kills to 2 but I really needed to kill 2 Dark Eldar to force a leadership test and hope! Luckily I did exactly that and H proceeded to fail his leadership check.

An enjoyable victory for the Eldar.

Me (Raven Guard) vs Alistair (blood angels)

He got first turn and moved everything towards me, i having set up my fire team in a corner in cover. Nothing died.
My first turn and the assault marine was gone, both combi-plasmas used.
Second turn ali killed a sternguard with a combi-flamer. bare vanguard vet assaults combi-plasma vet.
My second turn killed the lightning clawed vanguard vet.
Third turn, nothing really happened baring movement.
My third turn, Heavy bolter kills terminator, the other kills plasma gun tactical. Other combi-plasma vet and other combi-flamer vet assists vet locked in CQC.
Four turn ends up with last vanguard vet dying (as well as a combi-plasma dude dying) and the lone lascannon guy who did nothing running away.

A nice clean victory, gunning everything down.

H beat me but ill let him come up with the story im sure he'll make the suicidal marines sound funny
